Ireland's SUSAN MCKEOWN returns to World Village this month for a new collaboration with The Klezmatics' lead singer LORIN SKLAMBERG. On "SAINTS & TZADIKS", these two innovative artists forge the link between Irish and Jewish folk traditions with mutual admiration, bringing to light the common subjects of human and divine passion. The album delivers romances and laments, dance numbers and comedies, while drawing on Jewish mysticism, the ancient Gaelic vocal style sean nós, and early 20th century Yiddish vaudeville.
